The amenities are great, but the rooms feel outdated and the lack of room temperature control can make your experience feel cheap.

“Nice Hotel In Need of Repairs”

We stayed for three nights at the hotel on our trip south. Our room was very good but, in general, the hotel is in need of repairs. Also, while we were staying there, there were not many other guests. The front desk staff were very helpful and provided good recommendations for dinner and a boat cru… lisää

We stayed for three nights at the hotel on our trip south. Our room was very good but, in general, the hotel is in need of repairs. Also, while we were staying there, there were not many other guests. The front desk staff were very helpful and provided good recommendations for dinner and a boat cruise. The breakfast was very good with a large assortment of foods. We didn't use the pool but we did see others using it. The grounds are nice and it is definitely worth a walk out to the dock. The location is a little way from the restaurants but we walked to restaurants in about 10 minutes.

“A good hotel with an amazing view.”

The strange thing is that this hotel ‘nestles’ between shipyards...... but in fact you don’t notice that! The position is actually excellent with an amazing view of the river and city. There is obviously a sculling club nearby and you can watch the boats hurtling up and down the river, especially f… lisää

The strange thing is that this hotel ‘nestles’ between shipyards...... but in fact you don’t notice that! The position is actually excellent with an amazing view of the river and city. There is obviously a sculling club nearby and you can watch the boats hurtling up and down the river, especially first thing in the morning ..and at night the city lights up and reflects on the water....it’s amazing. If I had a criticism it would be that the staff on the desk when we arrived were really very supercilious......an indication that they were operating out of their ability.....and that they completely lacked training. Aside from that, rest of the staff were really quite good.....the rooms were spacious and clean, bathrooms good, beds comfortable and breakfasts quite adequate In the Chilean sense of the word. It is an old fashioned sort of place, but better for it I would say.....it’s quite a way from town, so you need a car or taxi...but better for that too. All in all, whilst not inexpensive, I thought it was good value and would return.
