“Good...better...best!”

Termas El Corazon is not far away from Santiago, our Nation´s Capital. This time we visited Termas El Corazón for a birthday party with the family and enjoy pool and an excelent buffet lunch. As usual, you meet a friendly and kind staff, with great service and delicious food.Totally recommended!

We went for the day (lunch and pool) and had a great time. When we arrived, we went straight to the restaurant for lunch which is buffet style (the pools are closed during lunch). To be honest I was shocked at the great service we had, having in mind the general service given to customers in Chile. The host and waiter were amazing, very kind and making sure everything was ok. You must take or purchase a few silly hats which are mandatory ($3,500 each). There are three pools at different temperatures, one of them covered, and a few cold plunge pools. After having being in all the pools we went to have something to eat and ordered a couple of sandwiches (barros jarpa: meat with cheese, and a churrasco tomate palta: meat with tomato and avocado) absolutely delicious! And the kind gentleman serving us even put a couple of chairs together so our 18-month-old son could sleep comfortably. Unfortunately the food and drinks area isn’t open all day so we had to wait a bit. Anyway, I totally recommend this place and am certainly going back someday. Lunch and pool: $45,000 each.

This place is as endearing as its name. We spent my birthday here and got the best suite in the house. Tall wooden ceilings and bucolic Chaparral views (gracias Claudio!). Thermal pools were pleasant (four in the spa area + a separate Olympic size pool) and two saunas (one dry one humid). Swimming caps are required and can be purchased there. I suggest buying higher quality ones elsewhere. There’s also a petting farm (a pin with goats etc) and a room with ping pong tables. 9 times out of 10 the staff were really hospitable and accommodating, especially Silvina. It’s a family-run business and this is imbued into the overall experience. I purchased the all inclusive package (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and checked off their Vegan option. Unfortunately, this didn’t register- even after I reminded a waiter. I left extremely famished. If you are a foreigner, you can show your passport with stamped entry date (less than 90 days old) and pay with foreign cash or card to deduct the 20% IVA tax. Unfortunately, their slide machine was incompatible with my Visa. The bank overseas assured there was nothing wrong with the card. After a lot of back and forth I paid the tax which came out to ~50 USD. I used this same card at two different vendors right after and encountered no issues. Despite the setbacks, I had a sweet time here. But - objectively speaking - I think it’s a bit overpriced.

“Nice day trip”

Pool plus buffet lunch. A bit expensive, but a fun thing to do near Los Andes in a hot summer day.
