“Great Stay”
The hospitality at this hotel was excellent. We arrived late on a Sunday afternoon, we had called ahead to book a table in the restaurant for a late Sunday lunch which was no problem and was excellent. “Friendly comfortable hotel”
Very comfortable bed in a large double room with tea, coffee, water etc Friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast with an extensive menu. We were travelling with our dog so we sat in the bar section of the restaurant as he was with us. Good evening meal. We will return.

“Great stay”
The reception was just first class at The Duke of York and the room was excellent for our 1 night stop over. We were able to share a leisurely meal with a long standing friend which was most enjoyable. The staff were, without exception, welcoming and efficient. Certainly would choose to stay there… lisää

“Lovely place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and good food.”
We stayed at the Duke of Wellington for 6 nights as we were visiting family in Northumberland. We would happily have stayed longer, but sadly, we had to return to the real world! “Gorgeous views”
The views from our room and from the restaurant area are stunning. Our bed was comfy and all amenities were provided for. The breakfast was tasty and served hot. The staff were friendly.
