We arrived late and tired to Genalguacil after a very long day of walking and we were blown away by the kindness of the lady who owns this hotel. The place had wonderful views of the valley and was perfect for our needs...hot shower and a comfortable bed. We were able to buy some food to take and the staff were so helpful with this. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Peace, tranquility and breathtaking views.”

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days. Unfortunately Veronica was away and we only met with her husband, Manuel for the first few days. After that we were well looked after by the lovely Isabel. My partner and I stayed here for 10 days. Unfortunately Veronica was away and we only met with her husband, Manuel for the first few days. After that we were well looked after by the lovely Isabel. Genalguacil is the most beautiful white village located high up in the mountains. The art around the village is very interesting and this was a perfect base to tour the surrounding mountain villages and towns - Ronda with its amazing aqueduct and bullring is a must! Also just 45 minutes drive from the coast at Estapona. The local home cooked food served at Posada was delicious and good value. Isabel made us an authentic Spanish omelette which was scrummy. We loved every minute and would certainly return.

“Beautiful hotel”

We stay here for one night while travelling the views on the way we're breathtaking well worth the trip the owners were very warm and welcoming offering us a welcome drink on arrival we parked in the village car park free a stones throw from the hotel the room was as described beautiful 4 poster bed lovely modern shower room they explained about the village and all the art we had a lovely day photographing it all and watching the sunset over the mountains from the square near the church we had the evening meal I recomend the cream soup and the meatballs all the locals come to eat as well a family atmosphere we didn't stay for breakfast as had to move on but it looked lovely and we were again offered a drink before leaving we traveled on to Ronda again through amazing mountain views great experience we hope to return again x

Summer 2016 is coming to an end.Time to summarise our holiday time. The best place we stayed was La Posada del Recovero. Veronica and her colleague who run this place are just exceptional.For them the contentment of the guests is priority.Their warmness and kindness captivated us completely.Despite that we had not booked we were offered very comfortable apartment. Tapas and wine served there exposed the spirit of real Andalusia. Genalguacil, little white village hidden up in the mountains made us fly above everyday problems, giving energy for the rest of the year This is the place you want to come back again and again.
