“Great place to stay”

The apartment was spacious. Javier was very friendly and helpful even we didn't have a common language. He even came to pick us up from the bus station and dropped us off to railwaystation even he had to do two round trips both times because his car had only one passenger seat. The apartment was spacious. Javier was very friendly and helpful even we didn't have a common language. He even came to pick us up from the bus station and dropped us off to railwaystation even he had to do two round trips both times because his car had only one passenger seat. The shower was marvelleous and there were enough toiletteries. The kitchen was big enough for little cooking. The location couldn't have been better. Soundproofing wasn't very good but that is typical in Spain. There was no elevator. The internet connection wasn't very reliable but it worked when we really needed it.

To get the negative points out of the way first: - the apartment doesn't offer any view, except a very small window to the street. Yes, you're at a 2 minute walk from the Puente Nuevo but once inside the apartment, there is nothing to see. - there is only an airconditioning unit in the living room, not in the bedroom. - the beds were pretty hard (and too short, but that's everywhere the case). Apart from this, pretty much everything was positive. The location is great, right in the centre of all the things you'd like to see, the reception by the owner was great, the apartment is beautiful and well furnished: wifi, flat screen tv, complete kitchen, washing machine, etc. We came by car and the owner directed us to a parking garage for 10 Euro per day. The first night everything was quiet, the second night other guests decided to have a party and we noticed that the building was quite noisy.

The positives of the apartment: (1) the manager was waiting for us and made some recommendations for places to eat. (2) the kitchen was complete with microwave, oven, hob, washing machine. The positives of the apartment: (1) the manager was waiting for us and made some recommendations for places to eat. (2) the kitchen was complete with microwave, oven, hob, washing machine. Only item missing was a dishwasher. Good location, Ronda is a smallish town, but the hotel is near the bridges, restaurants, etc. The street was quiet at night. Negatives: there were two major negatives. (1) the apartment had not been heated when we arrived and it took about 24 hours for it to be warm. The outside temperature had lows of 4-7C, and we typically set our home at 19C in accordance with some European guidelines, so we are accustomed to less than warm surroundings. (2) the internet signal was weak and for short periods non-existent. At a different time of the year, heating may obviously not be an issue, and then I would have given 4*.

“excellent location, better as a one bedder.”

excellent location 5 mins from the bridge yet nice and quiet on a dead end street. we stayed in the two bedrooom blue apartment. the downstairs bedroom was large with plenty of wardrobe space,shower room of a good size. good kitchen area.for 4 of us the living area was abit small as there was on on… lisää

excellent location 5 mins from the bridge yet nice and quiet on a dead end street. we stayed in the two bedrooom blue apartment. the downstairs bedroom was large with plenty of wardrobe space,shower room of a good size. good kitchen area.for 4 of us the living area was abit small as there was on one small sofa bed to sit on.the sofa bed was of no use to sleep on s it was very uncomfortable when opened up. the second bedroom was upstairs in the eves ,doors to the roof terraces opened up from it. it had aircon but was abit claustrophic for me. imo this apartment would be great as a one bedder for a couple as downstairs is very spacious.I wouldnt stay in it again knowing i needed to use the bedroom upstairs. apon leaving we looked at the red apartment opposite which had a larger living area and more chairs to sit on so maybe look to go for this apartment. javier was very welcoming and it was nice to practice my spanish as for once he didnt speak english
