The location suited me. I was in Huesca for one night - very close to tourist attractions in the historical centre, the tourist office, restaurants, and walking distance to the train station. The reception clerks were friendly. I left early the following day so I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. The room was simple but comfortable enough, definitely for one night. I think that the lights are a bit of a problem if I were staying longer Felt safe as a single, female traveller.

“Cheap & Cheerful!”

We chose the Hostal San Marcos partly because it was a cheap one night stopover - 45.45 euros for the night - and for its location, right next to the medieval centre. We drove leisurely through France and into Spain, Huesca was our first stopover in Spain. We chose the Hostal San Marcos partly because it was a cheap one night stopover - 45.45 euros for the night - and for its location, right next to the medieval centre. Basic, clean and simple; after all you get what you pay for so don't expect anything elaborate. Also, as we intend to tour by car in the future, wanted to try more economical B&Bs in France and Spain.Very limited free parking is available from the Hostal in an undrground car park just down the road. Its location is now in a newly pedestrianised area, clear directions were provided to us which involved driving through the pedestrianised zone, apparantly OK if staying at the Hostal. The room was small, plain, clean and reasonably comfortable with an en suite with not much in the way of soap etc. Advise that you take your own if fussy, we tend to automatically regardless of the standard of hotel, just in case. The rooms tend to be basically soundproofed so you hear footsteps etc from other rooms. No air conditioning of course but we had a comfortable night. The location is perfect for access to the medieval centre of Huesca and there is a wide choice of bars and restaurants within a few yards. The staff were very helpful and even walked down to the underground car park to ensure we parked in one of their allocated spaces! Overall we found getting to the Hostal easy inspite of negotiating narrow streets, and the experience enjoyable; just don't expect any form of luxury and enjoy the location.

“Excellent location”

We got this room discounted on a book site so a bit cheaper than normal. Excellent location, very clean room and best of all we had a quiet room, the windows keep the outside street sounds out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our internet was not working well and they got a technician in the next … lisää

We got this room discounted on a book site so a bit cheaper than normal. Excellent location, very clean room and best of all we had a quiet room, the windows keep the outside street sounds out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our internet was not working well and they got a technician in the next day to fix it and it was great after that. Slept very well here in a spacious room and comfortable twin bed. Would definitely come back.

We had a couple of small issues with the room, but nothing that would stop me from staying again. The Hostal San Marcos is in a brilliant location, near to everything you might want to do in Heusca.
