“Great boutique hotel to disconnect”

Torre del Marques is a charming and peaceful boutique hotel perfect to disconnect from the daily stress of life. I particularly liked the service and the quality of the products in the restaurant. I really appreciated their sustainable vision with local produce.

The service was warm and attentive without feeling intrusive. The entire property feels luxurious. The spa was the perfect escape, and the winery experience added something really special to our trip. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this place is simply perfect.

We stayed one night in March and decided it was the perfect location to celebrate my 75th Birthday on April 21st. As it turned out the Hotel advised us that not all facilities would be available that week so we took advice and moved our booking forward a week. We were particularly keen to book some massages and horse riding locally. So first the positives - the Hotel and especially the well kept room was excellent, the dinning room and fresh food prepared bt the chef very tasty. The grounds around the Hotel are great to provide a good opportunity for some easy walks - although we were discouraged from going to the peak / outlook point as apparently the trail was not clear. The negatives for us were many, existing staff were ok but there were many new and inexperienced staff that frankly were not service orientated. The bar area is not welcoming especially when no one is serving prior to dinner. As for the Spa it should have been a high point in our stay . We had delayed a week to get our chosen massage style however it has to be said the male therapist was poor, very poor. Unfortunately he had this constant rather annoying sound of trying to clear his throat. As for his touch - it was the worst I had experienced in 75 years. Aside from this the facilities looked good. In conclusion we love this place and surrounding area but as a small Leading Luxury Hotel it needs a lot to maitain the standards required over the entire opening period ( not just the peak ) Finally during our stay construction work was ongoing from 7am till way past 7pm each day on the adjacent piece of land. This can be annoying. The Management will no doubt explain all this as preparation for the new season but it definately affected our overall enjoyment. Hence my long note which I did attempt to share with reception. Would we stay again - Yes as we do like the overall package but I am interested to see if they get their act together ?
