This boutique hotel was far beyond what we expected. We arrived late due to KLM losing our luggage and the owners stayed up late until we arrived. They greeted us by name and asked if we would like dinner at their restaurant which they kept opened. We were gracious for this after a long flight from the US and the delayed arrival which had us exhausted. The dinner was wonderful, with excellent service, a suggested bottle of Rioja wine the was perfect, and delicious Asturias food. They went out of their way to ensure our lost luggage arrived and did not hesitate to take a call with the airport to answer questions about it's arrival. The views from the hotel which is perched above the valley gives you views above the clouds of the majestic Peaks of Europe and you are less than 30 minutes from hiking at the famous Covadonga lakes. I would highly recommend a stay if you are planning a visit to this area.

“Even better than expected”

We stayed here for two nights in June while I was participating in a race. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. We stayed here for two nights in June while I was participating in a race. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. Feels like you're really surrounded by nature with the cow bells waking you up in the morning. The food is great and reasonably priced. Breakfast was quite good as well and the owners were attentive enough to make breakfast available earlier than usual the day of the race since many people staying at the hotel were there for the same reason. Speaking of the owners, they were extremely nice and helpful, going out of their way to make you feel welcome and giving you all the information needed for the surroundings. All in a all, a lovely place where I hope to have an opportunity to return to in the near future.

“Friendly, beautiful, peaceful ”

Great hotel, where it feels like becoming part of the family in this really nice place with beautiful rooms, good food and gorgeous environment! We loved our stay here and it really felt like a relaxing vacation. Perfect for making beautiful hikes and nice car drives.

“Idyllic remote location ”

We spent two nights here as part of our tour of North Spain We were greeted by Manuel who’s English is amazing. We spent two nights here as part of our tour of North Spain We were greeted by Manuel who’s English is amazing. He helped us locate local eateries and gave us ideas for places to visit within half hour car journey. We had a deluxe room with jacuzzi bath and porch terrace. View of the mountains was amazing as was the sound of bird song and cowbells. In the evening this was replaced by sound of frogs and owls. The only down side I can think of is that people congregated under our window to smoke, therefore we could not keep our windows open to enjoy the fresh mountain air and associated sounds. Maybe a designated smoking area at a distance from the building would be a good idea. If this would have been the case we would definitely have rated you five star Breakfast was a good selection, served in a lovely annex. We never stayed for dinner however it appears the menu changes daily. Good selection of wines and spirits.
