We chose to stay for two weeks at what’s essentially a high‑end campervan and camping site, mainly because we wanted to be close to San Sebastián and needed somewhere we could park the car. With city parking costing around 20–30 euros per day, WeCamp seemed like a smart option. The location really is excellent. Only about a 10‑minute drive into the city by car or bus. We originally booked a glamping tent with all the mod cons, including AC. After calling maintenance to open a jammed lock, we switched on the AC and went for a walk around the site. Unfortunately, the unit directly above the main bed leaked—badly. By the time we returned, roughly two buckets’ worth of water had soaked the bed, pillows, and duvet. To their credit, the WeCamp staff were fantastic. They immediately upgraded us to a 5‑bed apartment, which was luxurious and extremely well equipped, right down to toiletries and a welcome pack with washing and cleaning supplies. It had a full‑size fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a rather underpowered infrared hob. The entire site is kept spotless, and the team clearly works hard to maintain it. We would definitely stay here again—just maybe not for a full two weeks. PROS - Lovely, friendly, and genuinely helpful staff - On‑site bar, restaurant, and shop all offer good value - Excellent shower water pressure - Laundry facilities include soap and conditioner - Regular bus service into town CONS - No pool access until 10:30, which becomes frustrating - Kitchen hob is very weak - Bean‑bag sofas look stylish but aren’t comfortable - Some parking spaces are awkward to manoeuvre into

“Bus outside for San Sebastian”

Weather was a bit iffy so it was a bit soggy ground . We found it good , smallish pitches but suited us for a couple of nights and enough room to do a bbq . We got the bus the morning after arriving and only across the road from site . Took 20minutes and ran about every 15 or 20 minutes . Fairly … lisää

Weather was a bit iffy so it was a bit soggy ground . We found it good , smallish pitches but suited us for a couple of nights and enough room to do a bbq . We got the bus the morning after arriving and only across the road from site . Took 20minutes and ran about every 15 or 20 minutes . Fairly cheap too . Found the site ideal for getting to the city and bus ride had great views . We only had a drink in the restaurant but the food looked good and people eating were happy . It is a bit more expensive site than a lot down south but it seems to be the same in that area . San Sebastián is a lovely city and will call there again in way home from our winter break next April .

“Great staff.”

The real positives in this site were the staff. The beautiful woman waitress in the bar. Big shout out for Anna and Virginia. Virginia dealt with a power cut in under an hour. This was despite being on her own and no maintenance available. Anna helped me and my wife tremendously to get an emergency… lisää

This was despite being on her own and no maintenance available. Anna helped me and my wife tremendously to get an emergency travel document (after we were robbed) We are eternally grateful for her help. The negative(as with almost all big companies these days) was the general organisation/management of the site. One incident speaks volumes. Wecamp is on top of a mountain and fairly remote(7k to San Sebastian). One day, at 37°C, there was no pool, no shop, no bar, no restaurant. Nothing!
