We needed to overnight on our way to Extramadura and looked for lodgings in Navalcarnero, near Madrid. The Posada is a small guest house of about 12 rooms. It is an old Manor House with a tastefully crafted modern hotel expansion, skillfully done to maintain original decor. Rooms are well outfitted with excellent double beds and air-conditioning and baths with shower enclosure. The Posada has a tapas bar which serves coffee, drinks and Breakfasts. There is also onsite parking for an additional charge. Service is friendly and efficient! The owners also offer full meal services in their nearby restaurant "Tio Juanon". Navalcarnero is an attractive Castillean town of about 20,000 inhabitants with scenic walkIng streets. A great place to base yourself to explore Madrid, Toledo and Segovia.

“Very nice”

We stayed with 2 young boys one night on our way from Portugal back home in Barcelona. Very nice, clean, friendly and good location. Thank you. We had good breakfast and recommendation for a nice place for dinner. There is a bar with some tapas. The owner was very welcoming.

I've stayed here three consecutive years during either April or May for up to eight days at a time. It is a small but charming place that is friendly and helpful. I've stayed here three consecutive years during either April or May for up to eight days at a time. It is a small but charming place that is friendly and helpful. They do not speak English but I've been with Spanis-speaking friends and they've been very patient with my non-native Spanish. The rooms are basic, but clean. They include stocked bathroom with soap, shampoo and hair dryer. There is a lovely interior open-air courtyard where you can enjoy coffee or wine with tapas. I've stayed on both the first and second floors with windows open (no AC) and never a problem. It's a short hike to a bus stop (take the 528) to Madrid. Navalcarnero is off the beaten path but super safe and charming and it's easy to get to Madrid so you don't have to rent a car or take a taxi. We will definitely continue to stay here in the future!

“Noisy and bad smelling room”

We had room #1, with window on the backyard of the pub and it was very noisy till late in the night. In addition the room has a terrible smell o years of smoke, not sure if due to previous guests smoking inside or coming from the yard, anyway our clothes are still bad smelling after 24 hours! By the way the room was clean and the bathroom just renewed.
