Awesome, intimate, wild, tranquil, well appointed lodge and furnishings. There's such an amazing atmosphere in this place: the staff are friendly and engaging. We had beautiful animal sightings and our guide, Sam was wonderful 💯 Food is top notch 😋

The food was absolutely divine. Changing up the menu every day The abundance of game and their surroundings. Our very knowledgeable, awesome guide Sam who took us to amazing places daily. Spoiling us which tantalizing sundowners & snacks with incredible views. We saw all the game on our bucket list and more! Learnt so much about birds, trees, plants etc. The staff made such a special effort for our Gogos 85th birthday. I can highly recommend Rhino River lodge. We didn't want to leave. It has everything and more! 5 Star service all the way which such unique special touches. A memorable time by all. Well done Rhino River Lodge, you guys totally out do yourselves!👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our daughter turned 18 and the crew prepared a delicious chocolate cake. The cake was brought to use including a special version of Happy Birthday, we loved it. We were lucky that we spotted a lot of beautifull wild life.

I wanted to reach out to extend the biggest "THANK YOU" to the entire team at the Rhino River Lodge! We have all safely returned to our homes on our side, yet messages, emails and social posts are still swirling like mad with the talk of our EPIC SA adventure to the beautiful Manyoni Game Reserve and our stay at the beautiful Rhino River Lodge! The group thoroughly enjoyed our time on Manyoni and our luxurious stay at the Rhino River Lodge (exactly what we needed after our hectic few days at Tembe Elephant Park). The team was blown away by the beauty of the lodge grounds, the dining area and of the stunning rooms that left us all feeling completely pampered and special. As mentioned, I did have great feedback from the team about the Rhino River Lodge and our excellent guide Storm! Comments included, that the team enjoyed the luxury of the lodge and that it felt so wonderful to feel that important (worthy of staying there), that the food was excellent and loved the fact that the vegetarian/ gluten free folks were never forgotten or offered basic meals, and the team loved Storm and her fantastic knowledge of the Reserve as a whole, the ZCT and of the ZRO. She was a great sport, as most of her "fun facts" that she would likely share with lodge guests, were things we already know (being a group of zookeepers). However, her guiding knowledge was excellent and we did come away from our trip learning so much about the KZN, Manyoni, the ZCT and the wildlife that call the reserve home. Her professionalism was top notch and we felt well looked after and cared for. I felt our stay of 6 nights was ideal! The rooms were so lovely and comfortable for our group to share. The dining space to accomodate 10 people was excellent and RRL also offers great amenities on property should we need some time to ourselves - away from the group. THANK YOU again so much - we have all left a small piece of each of our hearts at the Rhino River Lodge.
