I had the best time of my life staying at Lombok for 3 nights. The ocean view was epic and exceptional. The food was to die for and don’t let me get to the hospitality. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Thank you for hosting us Olivia ♥️

“Lwando enjoyed his stay”

The place is beautiful. As you walk to your room you hear the sound of waves from the sea which is breath taking. The hostess is also a lovely person who makes the stay enjoyable. When you wake up in the morning you are impressed by the lovely sea view and birds chirping from a far.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lombok Lodge and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Olivia and her husband were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay at Lombok Lodge and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. Olivia and her husband were wonderful hosts, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. We did have a bit of an issue finding the place on arrival, but that was entirely on us — unfamiliar with the area, our GPS sent us to a different location in Port Shepstone. Once we got there, everything was smooth sailing. We opted for the breakfast and dinner option, and it was great to see how considerate they were with my wife’s vegetarian meals. The only challenge was the size of the portions — they were absolutely massive! After dinner, all you could really do was sleep, and in the morning we found ourselves working out just to ease off the food coma. The setting by the coast was lovely. We didn’t get a chance to try out the small pool, but we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out front of our unit, watching both the sunrise and the moon. One small note: if you’re not a smoker, you may catch some secondary smoke from the neighboring unit. The breakfast slot of 07h00–09h00 meant sleeping in wasn’t really an option, and dinner at 19h00 felt a little late — moving it earlier might give guests more opportunity to enjoy the evening afterwards. That said, the food was great, the fridge had more than enough space for our drinks and ice, and the overall experience was relaxing and memorable. All in all, Lombok Lodge is a lovely place to stay by the coast. We look forward to visiting again, hopefully when the weather is a bit warmer!
