“Plotting to move here permanently!”
Location was perfect, check‑in so easy it felt suspiciously magical, staff were friendly enough to make me wonder if they were secretly angels, and the room was clean, comfortable, and smelled like heaven had a linen closet. “Best place to stay with beach view”
We absolutely loved our trip to Durban. The Surf Motel was the best place to stay as we went just to hang out on the beach and have fun in the ocean. “Great place”
Spent 4 days there, great place that is clean and tidy. The staff are super friendly and the location is a stones throw from the beach. We recommend this place to all that want a great break. “Birthday trip”
Stunning venue right on the beach. Rooms have all you need, are neat & clean and serviced every day. Stunning views. Lovely deck to sit & chill on. Shops & restaurants all with 2km Close to King Shaka & Sibaya.

“Great location”
Rustic and relaxed setting but the bathrooms let them down. We enjoyed the beaches and restaurants in Umdloti. The bathroom had a low ceiling in the shower and no air vent or window so shower curtain didn't keep floors dry
