We are also truly grateful to our incredible safari guides, Eric and Siyabonga, who made our jeep safari experience unforgettable with their knowledge, energy, and passion for nature. And of course, to the many wonderful team members whose names we may not be able to mention individually—thank you all for your kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. “South Africa Safari. Pilanesburg Nature Reserve”

A magical place. Direct access in to the nature reserve for the game drive. With x2 a day. Very early morning. (But it’s worth it) and an after noon early evening it’s brilliant. A magical place. Direct access in to the nature reserve for the game drive. With x2 a day. Very early morning. (But it’s worth it) and an after noon early evening it’s brilliant. Seeing x4 of the big 5 in 24 hours was mind blowing. A weekend drive over the Easter weekend did mean the trails became busy and heavily populated but none the less we saw a pack of lions and after careful maneuvering from our excellent guide Jan the team got pics to die for. The rooms are immaculate. To an incredibly high standard. With showers outside. It really does give you the safari feel. With all Meals included on this trip - plus snacks at every moment, the Ivory lodge is a top pic. My trip was only 24 hours but I would say a min of x2 nights x 3 days is needed give you enough time to do x6 game drives and everything else the lodge has to offer My itinerary Day 1 arrival after lunch Game drive x1 (snacks) Dinner Gin Tasting Day 2 Early game drive Breakfast - cheeky monkeys included Quad bike ride Spa treatments Shopping Pool and then the drive to airport. That staff here are so incredibly friendly. Nothing is too Much trouble and the service is top notch.
