We stayed for three nights in the Penthouse at The Rockefeller Hotel, and the entire experience was absolutely exceptional. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The Penthouse is incredible — spacious, modern, beautifully designed and fitted with state-of-the-art technology. The private patio really takes it to another level, with your own jacuzzi, sauna and ice bath. It truly feels like your own private luxury retreat in the middle of Cape Town. What impressed us just as much as the accommodation was the service. The staff were outstanding — friendly, professional, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The food was also excellent throughout our stay. The location is extremely convenient. The V&A Waterfront is less than 10 minutes away, making it very easy to enjoy everything Cape Town has to offer. From the beautiful Penthouse and incredible facilities to the food, staff and service, everything was outstanding. The Rockefeller Hotel completely exceeded our expectations and made our stay very special. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it!

Recently wrapped up a stay at Rockefeller Hotel in Cape Town and it exceeded every expectation. Check-in was seamless from the moment I arrived, and the attention to detail throughout the property was obvious - nothing felt like an afterthought. The hotel itself is stunning, and the amenities covered every base without feeling excessive. What really stood out was the staff - genuinely professional, attentive without hovering, and clearly proud of where they work. It's rare to find a property that delivers on both luxury and convenience so consistently. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cape Town who wants a properly polished stay.

“Not for families”

Nice rooms and decent food. However, I would not recommend it for families, especially those with young children - a manager at the hotel made us pay $100 USD for a piece of small piece of western style decoration (that couldn’t cost that much) after my toddler bumped into a table and shamed us ab… lisää

However, I would not recommend it for families, especially those with young children - a manager at the hotel made us pay $100 USD for a piece of small piece of western style decoration (that couldn’t cost that much) after my toddler bumped into a table and shamed us about it. We had booked for almost a week, so I thought the whole thing was pretty upsetting.
