Sono Moon Danyang is in a great location for exploring the main sights in Danyang. The rooms are clean—old, but nicely renovated—and most offer a beautiful river view, especially from the 3rd floor and above. Only a handful of rooms lack the river outlook. There’s a convenience store on-site, and the property has plenty of facilities such as a sauna, waterpark, arcade, and karaoke. However, these amenities are quite overpriced. They also sell discounted tickets to several major Danyang attractions, which is convenient. Parking can be limited, and we skipped the breakfast due to the high price and long lines. Despite the hotel being at full capacity, elevator wait times were short, and the staff were efficient throughout our stay. Weekend rates feel a bit high given how much is charged as extras, but weekday rates offer good value. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would return again.

“The best resort in Danyang area.”

“Cheap but facilities not included. ”

Cheap one night stay on way to Seoul with family of 2 adults, a 5 year old and 2 year old. Booked here rather than other accommodation as available, cheap and had a pool for the kids. Cheap one night stay on way to Seoul with family of 2 adults, a 5 year old and 2 year old. Booked here rather than other accommodation as available, cheap and had a pool for the kids. Unfortunately the hotel website don’t advertise that the pool/water park which is inside the hotel isn’t included in room price. It’s a further £78/108000W approx to take our 5 year old in for a swim (that’s 2 adults and a 5 year old). The 2 year old is free but unlikely to get much out of it. The swim cost for our family is £18 more expensive than the cost of the room! Bit of a scam. Room very outdated but clean and spacious. You can buy tickets for the sky walk at the hotel reservation desk. Sky walk well worth the money as is nearby caves.
