“Bright, clean & new hotel with a great view.”

We live in Seoul, but needed a hotel room for the night, & this was our first stay at the hotel. Location: About a 5 minute walk from Mapo station line 5, with very easy access to the Han River, Youido etc. We lived in this neighborhood before and it’s great. Cleanliness: The hotel, including the room, is spotless. No smells, no dust, no mold. The pools were well tended to, the gym was clean and overall, I couldn’t complain. Vibe: The view from the lobby and river side room is excellent. The rooftop pool is large (yet shallow), and unique, as it isn’t common in Seoul for it to overlook the river. One thing to note is that you cannot bring any outside food into the hotel and eat it in common areas. This includes things like coffee, which I found to be strict compared to other hotel rules in a similar class, but it’s common in Seoul. I saw a few children, but mostly couples and business people (mostly Korean). This hotel seems like a good fit for a couple looking to explore Seoul or relax, a small family or people in the city for business. Room: The riverside room (14th floor) is bright, large and well equipped. The only issue is that the clothing storage is very minimal. Beds are extremely comfortable & AC gets cool enough. Bathroom is spotless and the tub is a nice addition. The hotel is adjacent to a large freeway, and while you can indeed hear car noise, it’s very minimal. If you’re very sensitive, this might not be the location for you. Staff: Extremely kind staff who go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Jamie at the front desk was very accommodating, and his colleague whom I talked to on the phone, was very, very helpful. They both spoke strong English and I felt that they were accustomed to foreign travelers. I did not try the food, as I was not feeling great, but I believe this hotel might have food to match its quality. Thank you for a short, but accommodating stay!!
