“Interesting place and awesome shop!”

I didn't stay here, just came on a visit as part of a city tour. It was interesting to see the ice cream being made, raffia centre and just to chill out in some of the lounge spots. The restaurant was also very good and had some superb views. They don't breed bees anymore but still worth a visit… lisää

The restaurant was also very good and had some superb views. They don't breed bees anymore but still worth a visit. And for all you fellow shoppers out there...this place had THE best shop in all of Panglao/Bohol.

“Wonderful Place to Stay”

If you are expecting a shiny, sterile environment like you get in some hotels, you will be disappointed in the Bee Farm. If you are expecting a shiny, sterile environment like you get in some hotels, you will be disappointed in the Bee Farm. If you enjoy more rustic and organic areas surrounded by nature, you will definitely enjoy this place. The room we had was very large, with a deck overlooking the sea. It was incredible to sit on the deck at night and watch the fireflies (not a huge amount, but enough to keep us happy). The hotel really tries to keep with the reduce / reuse / recycle theme. They have a beautiful organic herb garden, a bakery on-site that makes great bread and muffins, and coconut ice-cream of various flavors. Even the rooms follow this theme - the soap tray was made from coconut shell, and the towel rack was made from driftwood. Our favorite activity was getting up early and beachcombing in the tide pools below the cliffs. After an hour of looking at fossil corals in the cliff face and various marine animals, we would head up to the restaurant for a delightful breakfast of waffles, fresh fruit and squash muffins. And at the end of the day, the super comfortable king-size bed was waiting for us. Occasionally, you may hear the geckos but otherwise it was extremely quiet.

There was no bees left at the main Bohol Bee Farm on Panglao island .. as due to a typhoon / cyclone in previous years We tried the ice cream - so delicious .. you can even watch their ice cream being made on site The gift shop had local products including food There is interesting sea views … lisää
