From the moment we arrived at the island, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles. Check-in was a breeze despite the wave of excited tourists from all over the world. The food was absolutely divine. Fresh seafood, local delicacies, and pastries baked right on the island - every meal was a celebration! Our villa was a serene sanctuary with a private pool that gave us that much needed peaceful escape. The sweetest touch was the welcome platter with native Filipino Delicacies! We had the best time exploring the island and diving into all the fun it had to offer, from baby shark feeding, snorkeling, pedal boating, kite flying, to catch & release fishing. Every moment was an adventure, and my family were all in from sunrise to sunset! And then came the ultimate treat: a boodle dinner feast by the beach, overflowing with our favorite seafood dishes. It was the perfect island-style dinner. Just when we thought the day was winding down, the team surprised us with a bonfire by the ocean, complete with everything we needed to make s'mores! So cozy, so magical, and such a beautiful way to end the day. We truly appreciate how the Sumilon Bluewater team goes above and beyond their client's expectations. Huge thanks to all the amazing staff at Sumilon most especially to Ms. Shayne, Sir Arnel, and Sir Ram. You all made us feel like VIPs every step of the way. We can't wait to be back! So excited to visit Sumilon Bluewater again!

Even though the journey from Cebu Airport to the hotel took up to 4 hours, when we arrived at the hotel, I must say that it was amazing. The room was beautiful, with complete facilities. The hotel area around the island has a beach for swimming and many activities to do. The hotel package includes breakfast and dinner, which are delicious and have a lot of variety. The staff provided good service. I was very impressed.

The entire island was amazing. It has a good balance of raw natural beauty and landscaped areas, which I really appreciated. There’s plenty to do around the island, but snorkeling was one of the highlights because of the wide variety of fish you’ll see. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The pool is a bit small, especially the one accessible to in-house guests, but I liked the tree in the middle as it gives some shade when swimming in the afternoon. Despite the small pool, the beautiful beach definitely makes up for it. The buffet breakfast was also good, with lots of options available. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The only downside to our experience was the food at their restaurant, it was overpriced (compared to shang and other luxury resorts) and served in small portions. It felt like they took advantage of guests being on the island with no other options. Other than that, the overall experience was still amazing.
