Have stayed hear twice before and another warm welcome. Had the ground floor suite and had a great view of the gardens. Plenty of sun loungers and shady seating areas. Many different types of birds and monkeys come through the grounds. There is a short walk down a stepped path to the beach but could bema problem if you have any mobility issues. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. The food was so hot and tasty with plenty of selection. This is a very peaceful hotel with no rowdy groups or entertainment. Will book again for next year.

“Met all expectations”

First time here but won’t be the last. Warm welcome from Mark after a great taxi transfer by Dudu. Five rooms have a great view of the pool and gardens. Our room (1), was quiet and well appointed with the most comfortable beds and very quiet a/c. Plenty of sun loungers and shady seating areas. Man… lisää

First time here but won’t be the last. Warm welcome from Mark after a great taxi transfer by Dudu. Five rooms have a great view of the pool and gardens. Our room (1), was quiet and well appointed with the most comfortable beds and very quiet a/c. Plenty of sun loungers and shady seating areas. Many different types of birds and monkeys come through the grounds. There are small supermarkets about fifteen minutes walk away. There is a short walk down a stepped path to a gorgeous wide and clean beach with several great beach bars. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough to help. The food was so hot and tasty with plenty of selection. This is a very peaceful hotel with no rowdy groups or entertainment. Absolutely excellent for relaxation and rest.

“Fabulous hotel”

This was our first visit to Gambia and so pleased that we discovered Leo’s. The rooms are lovely and clean, with loads of cupboard space and comfy beds. Fabulous gardens with sun beds for everyone, no rush to save a space. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing and nothing was too much t… lisää

This was our first visit to Gambia and so pleased that we discovered Leo’s. The rooms are lovely and clean, with loads of cupboard space and comfy beds. Fabulous gardens with sun beds for everyone, no rush to save a space. The food in the restaurant was absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, each and every one of them treated us really well for our entire holiday. Nina and Alois are brilliant hosts and have a beautiful hotel. We left feeling very relaxed with fond memories of new friends and I am sure that we will be back in the future.

“Leo's.... put another way - you can't Lose'”

Not much to add to my previous reviews on this superb hotel. In my opinion still the best in the Gambia, with the owners living on site all your needs are promptly taken care of and the staff are all top notch. Not much to add to my previous reviews on this superb hotel. In my opinion still the best in the Gambia, with the owners living on site all your needs are promptly taken care of and the staff are all top notch. Best of all (in my view) the upkeep of the hotel and the gardens over the years has always been 100%. A policy of "No Children" makes this hotel very attractive if you feel you've done your "Children" bit.... and I do. As there are just seven rooms you will always be able to find a quiet corner in the garden, great for a cheeky daytime snooze, get stuck into a book or simply while away the hours day dreaming your favourite dreams. I like to take pictures of the many birds that visit Leo's garden. One slight *downer* is the amount of building plots near-by, a lot of natural destruction with very little construction going on, sad but I guess inevitable.
