“Loved Mount Cinnamon”

Leaving today after spending two fabulous weeks at Mount Cinnamon resort in Grenada! Highly recommend. First 10 days, our family of 6 were in a beautiful 3-bedroom villa. It was spacious, had 3 bathrooms, large sitting area, and two balconies with beautiful views of the sea and Grand Anse beach. The kitchen had almost everything we needed (only thing missing was a microwave)! After 4 of our group left, my husband and I spent the last few days in one of their Hacienda suites. I have to say the suite was my favourite as it was bright, spacious, and the view was just as beautiful. The kitchen had a microwave too! It had a great layout with one bedroom, but two bathrooms which was convenient. The staff at the resort were amazing - very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Kelly, Laura and Joshua!! Breakfast is included at the resort and believe me, above average food! Soooooo tasty. There is a cold buffet set up that you can choose from plus you get to choose an item from the hot menu. So much food and it always served as both our breakfast and our lunch. There is a lovely beach cabana called Savvy which serves great lunches and they have bonfire nights, taco nights and my husband and I even took part in a free cooking tutorial by one of their chefs at The Flying Fish restaurant where we made callaloo and pumpkin soup, fresh barracuda with creole sauce and plantain salad. It was incredible. They have a weekly manager’s social hour where they serve free rum punches. As you can tell, lots going on! Grand Anse beach is as beautiful as everyone says. Never had to fight for lounge chairs or umbrellas either. Depending on where your suite is on the resort, returning from the beach can be a bit of a workout as in some areas the climb is steep. We are fit 65+ year olds and it didn’t bother us, however we did see others struggling just a bit heading up. There is shuttle service if you need it to head down to or back from the beach. The local IGA is a short walk (10 mins) away to stock up your kitchen and there are a number of close, super local spots - like Umbrellas on Grand Anse beach and La Plywood on BBC beach - to check out for great food and local flair. We will return!

“Must visit spot”

Mt Cinnamon is perfect, I'm so glad we happened upon it. The room was lovely, clean, well appointed, and with a breath taking view.
