“Friendly, helpful and homely”
I just checked out today after two nights. Once you are inside the house is spacious, both the common areas and the room. It is an elegant old house lovingly looked after. “A great place to stay in the city.”
This was our first visit to Guatemala. Everyone at the Airbnb was super nice and Casa Carmel was truly a beautiful place to stay. We didn’t rent a car and it was an easy walk to town to shop and eat some good food and do some local sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again.

“Lovely home, lovely owners”
Casa Carmel was a perfect place to start and end our Guatemalan adventures. The Casa is absolutely beautiful with all original architectural details. This is a great small B&B in central Guatemala City. Easy walking distance of Cathedral and Central Market. The hotel and rooms are lovely with a beautiful garden.
