“It’s the place to be before the market.”
Loved our room and thought we had gotten an upgraded and later learned that ll rooms have a fireplace. Great location- steps away from the cemetery, Santo Thomas Church and of course the market. It is a colonial style (older hotel). The linens and towels were of nice quality.

This quaint hotel appears to have stopped in time. It was founded by Alfred Clark who died in 1937. He filled it with antiques and little has changed. “A decent option in Chichicastenango”
There aren't a lot of options in Chichi, and this has to be one of the better options. But they don't have much competition. Our stay was fine. The historic property is interesting. “Pretty good.”
Big room with fireplace and a comfortable bed. The service was excellent as well. It's also very close to the market, which is nice. However, we struggled to have hot water for the shower, the toilet was leaking/wouldn't always flush and we had to pay an extra to have to wifi password in the room.
