“MUST STAY”

Wow! Staff is wonderful. Hotel is beautiful and surrounded my greenery. Located right in the heart of Panajachel. Highly recommend! I stayed here for my birthday.

“Clean, comfortable spa experience”

Beautiful landscapes with spa services and comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed breakfast outside every morning and sauna/hot tubs each evening. Great location to access the lake and the city center. Very friendly staff and super clean.

There were some positives here, such as the location, breakfast and the serving staff such as Sinthia. However, the man at reception was incredibly rude upon arrival when after asking us how the room was, we informed him that the curtains were falling down in our room, he later came to see and agreed this was the case but nothing was done about it. The hotel is in need of modernisation and renovation. It is very tired and the rooms are basic with ants, mould and damp in the bathroom. The photos on trip advisor are a bit misleading. We had an adjoining room which once upon a time would have been for self-catering but sadly there was only half a kitchen and it was not at all attractive or useful. The hotel is in pleasant grounds which is respite off a busy road and as i said before the breakfast was nice, there is really good potential for this hotel but it needs some money thrown at it.

We were excited to arrive at this hotel, but we were quite disappointed with the room. The staff is very helpful and friendly—definitely a 4-star staff. Breakfast wasn’t included in our reservation, but they kindly offered it to us upon arrival (unfortunately, we couldn’t take advantage of it as we had to leave very early the next morning). From the outside, the hotel is beautiful, with lovely gardens. The hot springs are very enjoyable, and the location is great—right in the middle of Panajachel’s tourist street, yet still very quiet. As for the rooms… very disappointing. They looked nothing like the photos on Booking (where we made our reservation), which can sometimes happen, but in this case, they were extremely outdated. The bathroom was also in poor condition (squeaky toilet seat, broken tiles). However, everything was very clean—no complaints about housekeeping. Ok for one night.
