Visted with a tour group , it was an overnight stay. Fantastic location. Check-in staff extremely friendly and welcoming and at check out. Lovely big spacious room with tea and coffee making facilities, fridge and lovely white towels and linen. Bathroom was amazing and so was the buffet breakfast. Ock at the bar was friendly and served us well.

I couldn’t fault the hotel itself - nice room, comfortable bed and the decor is quite nice. The location is amazing, with forest walks and trails. The serviced, however, is dreadful. I had the misfortune of dining in one of the hotel’s restaurants…first I asked if I could have a table in the mostly empty restaurant “I have to check”. Fair enough. A couple of minutes later I was told I could have a table and the waitress would be with me in a minute. All of the smaller tables were dirty, but no real issue so far. I sat for 5, 10, 15 minutes…eventually a different waiter approached and asked if I was ok, so I asked for a menu. Menu arrived after another 5 or 10 minutes and the table was eventually wiped down. I ordered a main and a glass of wine. The main arrived maybe 15 minutes later, but no wine. I put it down to them being busy (although there were only maybe 20-25 diners). I finished my meal and when the waiter returned to remove my plate he told me they don’t have the wine I ordered. Not sure why it took 30-40 mins to tell me, but ok. I ask for a beer instead. There are only 2 and one of them is Heineken. I hate Heineken so I ask for the other one. 10 minutes pass, then 15, then 20 (yes I was timing at this point) and after 25 minutes the waiter comes to ask if I’m ok. “I ordered a beer”. “Ah yes”. A few minutes later a Heineken arrives. I would stay in the hotel again, but would avoid dining there at all costs, really poor

This is a nice place to stay. The rooms are good and clean. I had room 101 it had a balcony. Shower was fantastic and powerful. I stayed for 5 nights. The room was never cleaned during my stay. They provide both a coffee maker and kettle. Although with the rooms not being cleaned daily, you have no… lisää

This is a nice place to stay. The rooms are good and clean. I had room 101 it had a balcony. Shower was fantastic and powerful. I stayed for 5 nights. The room was never cleaned during my stay. They provide both a coffee maker and kettle. Although with the rooms not being cleaned daily, you have no replacement coffee pods. I did ask the cleaner for some along with milk and sugar. I got 3 and told the milk and sugar would be brought later. It never materialised. Luckily I had brought some of my own. There is no fridge or air-conditioning in the room. There are fans provided. The bed was comfortable and plenty of seats along with a desk. The hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs and bacon. Although on the weekend there was chicken sausages and beans. But week days it is scrambled eggs and bacon. Evening meals have a very limited menu. The restaurant is closed on a Sunday. The staff are very friendly and polite.

Hotel looks very nice from outside, located in the forest, also surroundings of hotel is very nice, it has a swimming pool, it could be very useful if you have kids , they also have a room for kids to entertain themselves. Hotel looks very nice from outside, located in the forest, also surroundings of hotel is very nice, it has a swimming pool, it could be very useful if you have kids , they also have a room for kids to entertain themselves. Entrance and public places of the hotel was very clean nicely decorated and elegant, however when you visit your room then you realise that hotel is actually very old, he had a slightly better room not the smallest one, it was large enough to sleep 3 people but heating was not working in the hotel. When we arrive to room, it was ice cold, I started the heating but it was not working properly, I called the reception and they advise to use portable ventilator in the room. I try to start ventilation but it was just cool no warming up function. Thus it was a big negative point for us as we were freezing for sometime, then after a couple of hours they brought as a real portable heater, it worked finely. Bathroom of our room was renovated but it did not have any ventilation in the bath, I though all hotels should have ventilation in bathroom by law in the Netherlands but obviously this was not the case, room neither have an airco, thus please bear in mind that heating/ventilation/cooling of this hotel is questionable. We had a bad dinning experience at Julia Restaurant of the Hotel, I wrote a separate review for it. In the morning we were positively suprised by the breakfast, they had small portions of everything, please do not expect many variaties, simply it was good quality food and coffee/tea. We enjoyed breakfast especially the lady in the green suit she was very welcoming good with kids, offering us tea/coffee, serving with pleasure. I would say price of hotel is OK versus what they offering, I would revisit this hotel only during spring time when you would OK with the outside air temperature, FYI they were also building new rooms thus it might be better in the future.
