Booked a few days away on a special deal and rather special it was. Very nice receptionist gave us all the necessary information, room very spacious with comfy chairs and very comfortable beds. Booked a few days away on a special deal and rather special it was. Very nice receptionist gave us all the necessary information, room very spacious with comfy chairs and very comfortable beds. Terrific shower, good breakfast buffet and very, very pleasant and helpful staff, one of whom recommended a special salad for our not very hungry stomachs on a very warm evening....and it was beautiful. OK, we were fortunate with the lovely weather, but I'm sure you can have a good time here on any season

“Bliss and comfort in glorious nature”

I booked a studio in the woods to be able to write and it was perfect. I enjoyed the lovely breakfast and further was self contained and could work surrounded by nature and exit the door for long walks in nature.

Its a great place to spend your weekend. The place are clean and perfect for nature lover. People are also so friendly here. “Pleasant lodgings in woods”

We stayed here for the wedding of friends on the premises. The surroundings are lovely, and if you love to walk in the woods, you're all set here! We stayed here for the wedding of friends on the premises. The surroundings are lovely, and if you love to walk in the woods, you're all set here! We had a room in a cabin in the woods, and it was roomy with a desk, television, big closet and very nice bathroom (shower, no bath). Only downside: you are in the woods, so you have to share with some eight legged friends ;) If you're scared of them, stay at the main house rooms :) Prices advertised are without tourist tax, but they are very affordable and included a big breakfast buffet.

The cottages are lovely with their own small kitchen block. The en-suite bathrooms were of good quality. The beds were fine. Child cot available on request. The hotel and cottages used to be a Quacker meeting point and the tranquillity has endured! The area around the hotel is ideal for bicycling and walking. Dogs are welcome in this hotel!!! Staff were friendly and helpful.
