My friend and I stayed at this hotel for a night en route to Germany. Pros: - The room was large, the beds very comfortable, excellent shower /facilities. - Parking was free. - The surprise factor for us was a mini bowling alley and a swimming pool in the basement. - We had taken a bottle of wine. They helped us open the bottle and even provided two wine glasses. - Lots of green in the area, so you could take a short walk. - The location is great especially if you are headed to or returning from Germany. Cons: - The Receptionist while checking in was good but while checking out needs more training. I was giving her a compliment about the hotel and she says "oh ok"!! - The breakfast was good and sufficient but basic. - We had dinner here which was a huge disappointment. We ordered bread Duco (warm bread with tapenade, hummus etc.) and after waiting for more than 40 minutes and a few reminders, we found out that they'd forgotten our order. Not only was there a delay, they served us the basic bread item (bread, butter & aioli). The main courses were overpriced and pretty basic (the veggie option was). Despite the delay and wrong order, they charged us without a word of apology. Our reservation was for 18:30 so one can't say that it was very busy. Service was not optimal. - For a 4* hotel (as they claim), there was no fridge nor coffee/ tea making facilities in the room. - There was a threshold between the room and the bathroom where we stubbed our toes numerous times. So please be aware and be careful. In a nutshell, would I recommend this place? Absolutely, yes. It is a fantastic place to stay. The staff need to be more customer friendly.

This is an average hotel. Rooms are average, bathroom is average, cleanliness is average. Room is relatively spacious, but spartan. Location is close to a busy road, but not too noisy… fortunately. This is an average hotel. Rooms are average, bathroom is average, cleanliness is average. Room is relatively spacious, but spartan. Location is close to a busy road, but not too noisy… fortunately. Insulation (windows @ balcony) not great, so room pretty cold in winter. Positive was that there is ample parking space, including e-vehicle charging stations. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Looks very cosy, menu looks ok, but food was a disaster. Fastfood for 5 times the price of a fastfood restaurant, and not even well cooked. Food thrown on a plate. No eye for detail. Personnel not very receptive for feedback. Too bad. Breakfast buffet was ok. Will I go here again? Sorry Fletcher, but no.

“Hmmm, different than 1st visit..mostly comfortable but... ”

This is my second time staying here (on business), and after a long work day, I appreciate a sauna for my weary muscles. This is my second time staying here (on business), and after a long work day, I appreciate a sauna for my weary muscles. However, this visit was a bit disappointing because I was told that the sauna would be opened at a certain time, but it wasn't after all. So, my colleague went to ask receptionist, but she only speculated that someone was still in there. Instead of confirming if someone had key or indeed of going down to check to see if someone was in there, we were left to just wait. So, after an hour of knocking on door and asking for reception to check, I was forced to give up and I wonder how reception just failed to solve it. For all I know, someone had a heart attack in there and that could explain why no one answered my knocking. The same receptionist was helpful 1st time. 2nd was strange. Also, the bathroom in room reeked of mildew. Yuck. Needs better ventilation and maybe a good bleach clean.
