This was our first experience at the VOCO and all went extremely well. The hotel is very well positioned and is just a 5 minute walk from the shops. This was our first experience at the VOCO and all went extremely well. The hotel is very well positioned and is just a 5 minute walk from the shops. The breakfast was plentiful and the restaurant/bar were very well managed and drinks and food were up to the expected standard. We would definitely return to the VOCO.

“It’s ok”

The hotel is clean although after a 7 day stay the floor in the room wasn’t cleaned once. The bedding wasn’t changed either. The servicing of the room was minimal but it did take place every other day. I ordered a birthday cake which was €12.50 and was even asked for a name of the recipient. All th… lisää

The hotel is clean although after a 7 day stay the floor in the room wasn’t cleaned once. The bedding wasn’t changed either. The servicing of the room was minimal but it did take place every other day. I ordered a birthday cake which was €12.50 and was even asked for a name of the recipient. All that arrived on the day was a small puck sized chocolate molten cake that was lukewarm. No candle or name. Looked like it came from the restaurant as a dessert option. The staff are friendly and the bed comfortable but only king size in the suites. The balcony is a nice option. The amenities are very minimal.

Long story, short, was told there is air conditioning in guest rooms by IHG customer service so I booked. Turns out the customer service agent and website were wrong. Later told there is just “ventilation “ in the rooms. Window did not open so I’m guessing it was a circulation fan of some kind. Did… lisää

Long story, short, was told there is air conditioning in guest rooms by IHG customer service so I booked. Turns out the customer service agent and website were wrong. Later told there is just “ventilation “ in the rooms. Window did not open so I’m guessing it was a circulation fan of some kind. Didn’t matter, room was very warm both nights of my stay. Informed the front desk and Silvia(Operations Coordinator) credited me 2000 pts for the issue, which to me was not fair compensation. Still looking for a fair resolution from IHG and the hotel almost a week later.

The room is "OK". I don't understand the old fashion Cruise theme. In particular the truck (mimic the old fashioned steamer trunks) functioning as the closet??? With 2 people for 2 days, not much space requiring, the "trunk" is too small. Packed with coffee/tea maker and all the coffee/tea parafana… lisää

The room is "OK". I don't understand the old fashion Cruise theme. In particular the truck (mimic the old fashioned steamer trunks) functioning as the closet??? With 2 people for 2 days, not much space requiring, the "trunk" is too small. Packed with coffee/tea maker and all the coffee/tea parafanalia, fridge, safe, there is not enough hanging and shelf space. Housekeeping on request....OK ...understand the labor shortages, cost savings, privacy etc. But then there is also no replenishing of coffee and tea. Ditto in the bathroom. Bathroom is OK..... but wrong/no shelf space, no washcloths, no hooks near the sink. Shower is good. Worth were the curtains ..... Tall windows with heavy curtains..... "derailed". Could not open or close. The breakfast buffet was mediocre. Running out of ..... plates and food. Tasteless scrambled eggs. The worst is the system to order an "Egg Sunny Site Up". Anyway, as a prestigious hotel at a very prestigious location in a prestigious former bank building (well done by the way) at the 4 star level, it would not pass the 4 stars by MOBIL.
