“Nice hotel!”

In the past we stayed on the market square, but it was really expensive. This is a 10 min walk away, and it was way cheaper. Don't be fooled, it looks 'oldie worldie' from the outside, but the rooms are quite modern. I am a clean freak at hotels, and this gets my thumbs up! The room was not as … lisää

In the past we stayed on the market square, but it was really expensive. This is a 10 min walk away, and it was way cheaper. Don't be fooled, it looks 'oldie worldie' from the outside, but the rooms are quite modern. I am a clean freak at hotels, and this gets my thumbs up! The room was not as big as I am used to. The room was hot - because it was in the attic, so we had to have the windows open all night, which meant we had a bit of outside traffic/chatting, as our room was at an intersection. The only thing I would say was a down side, was they need a drinks vending machine in the lobby, after 11pm, you cannot get a drink to quench your thirst!

“OK for one night”

Booked this hotel last minute and had a single - comfort room. Check in was no problem and the lady that checked me in was very friendly. The room on the 2nd floor was small and had a low ceiling and.....it was HOT. I was told that I could get a fan should I need one I didn't hesitate to ask for … lisää

Booked this hotel last minute and had a single - comfort room. Check in was no problem and the lady that checked me in was very friendly. The room on the 2nd floor was small and had a low ceiling and.....it was HOT. I was told that I could get a fan should I need one I didn't hesitate to ask for one and within 15 minutes it was brought to my room. It helped a bit..... . There was a small window but could not leave it open as there was a lot of traffic noise. Compared to the room the bathroom was quite spacious. Shower/tub combination, toilet and wash basin. I cannot say I woke up rested. I think it was close to 90F in the room. Breakfast....it was ok mainly because the OJ was good and there was yoghurt, but croissant I had was just heated and definitely not fresh. Considering the stars this hotel has you should be able to expect more. At least that your items are fresh!! The trainstation is close by as is the shopping center and a large supermarket (AH). I am not sure if I would stay here again. Has nothing to do with the staff, but more with the heat in the rooms and breakfast experience.

“Seemed a bit grumpy, put came through in the end.”

I was forced to stay in a hotel that night, due to a problem with my planned accommodation, and this is where I ended up. Arrived a little late, manager seemed not impressed by that or by my bike/kit. It all came through in the end though, the room was OK and fair enough as I asked for the cheape… lisää

I was forced to stay in a hotel that night, due to a problem with my planned accommodation, and this is where I ended up. Arrived a little late, manager seemed not impressed by that or by my bike/kit. It all came through in the end though, the room was OK and fair enough as I asked for the cheapest room possible. Brekfast seemed a bit unimpressive, but I just had some of everything and that was enoughfuel for the next bit of my bike tour. Mr not-too-happy came out of his shell when I stopped giving him difficult questions etc. Suggestion - offer a veggieburger etc [soya, not just veg+potato] for the hungry veggies. 4 types of cold meat but no veggieburger is a bit pants. Overall: Decent room and not too expensive. Service OK. Recommended.
