They cater for all ages - plenty to do if you want it (from all nautical on a wonderful reservoir to tennis, volley ball - heated and other pools) and have a beautiful scenery with a cheeky heron, small monkeys that come and eat out of your hand and a visiting lizard. The food is plentiful and caters for all tastes and includes breakfast, two meals and afternoon tea. Plenty of entertainment for adults and monitors for children of all ages. All in all a wonderful week.

“Nice place to stay in Avaré”

The entrance is very difficult to find so I recommend to use waze, once you find it... this is a really nice ecohotel, with lots of different stuff to do, so go prepare to have fun and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

This is a hotel indicated to families, especially with children. We spent 2 nights there. Activities: the hotel area is huge and there’s a lot do do, outdoors and indoors. You can do many different activities (adults and children) and the hotel has a schedule of activites for the day and night. Facilities: the hotel seems to be a little old, but is clean. The room has a good size, shower is good, bed and pillows are confortable. There are not non-smoking areas and maybe that’s why our room smelled a little bad at our checkin. Green areas are well maintained. As my daughter is little, we asked for bed protection grids.But were a little low. Suggestion for the hotel: to establish non-smoking areas, especially at rooms. Food: Delicious and varied! The hotel offers 4 meals: breakfast (7:45 – 10:00), lunch (13:00 – 15:00), a coffee-break (17:00 – 18:00) and dinner (19h30 – 21:00). Suggestion for the hotel: to antecipate 30 minutes the meals. It’s a bit late for small children to have lunch at 13:00 and dinner at 19:30. Staff: very attentive. Wi-fi: did not work well. Adequation to special needs: the hotel is not easly accessible by people with special needs. A lot of stairs and few ramps. Suggestion for the hotel: to review accessibility. Maybe I would not indicate for couples especially during school vacations and for people who want to relax during the day and early in the night. Children and parents speak loud at the rooms areas during the day as they come and go from the heated pool/ courts to the restaurant, and also until 11pm, when activities usually finish. And also during the day and at night, monitors with children may do activities that pass through these areas and there’s noise. In short, it’s a good option and would return with my family again.
