We had a fantastic four-night stay at Clive Tree Hill Villas and were looked after so well by the amazing Dian, Bram and their team! The accommodation was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and offered a real sense of connection with the surrounding nature. The on-site restaurant was excellent — every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared by the small team. What really made the experience stand out was the team looking after us. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One of the real highlights was being able to swim in the nearby waterfall before breakfast each morning — an incredible way to start the day. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-run retreat with outstanding service.

An amazing place, set in a stunning location run by good people. Delicious food, unreal scenery, beautiful villas with private gardens. Dian and Bram are a great team and will ensure you have a wonderful stay and a safe transfer back to Uluwatu.

Amazing outlook and views, such friendly staff, wonderful food, every meal I tried something different and everything was spot on each time. Amazing outlook and views, such friendly staff, wonderful food, every meal I tried something different and everything was spot on each time. The rooms were Huge and very comfortable.. even at night the views of the boats on the ocean and a field full of fireflies was magical. Had an awesome massage everyday with the waterfall in the background.. This was my first time in Bali and am now in love with this area of Bali and its awesome people. Such a great experience. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to go back.

“Magic!”

We just spent an incredible 10 days at Clove Tree Hill. It is quite simply the most wonderful place we have ever stayed at. The food, the lovely villa, the views, the smiling , caring staff, the refreshing swimming pool, the great full body massages. The personal attention provided by Dian and Bram… lisää

We just spent an incredible 10 days at Clove Tree Hill. It is quite simply the most wonderful place we have ever stayed at. The food, the lovely villa, the views, the smiling , caring staff, the refreshing swimming pool, the great full body massages. The personal attention provided by Dian and Bram. The excellent tour to Blahmantung Waterfall and the Belimbing Rice terraces. The chance to accompany Dian and business manager Bert to a ceremony at the two temples in the village of Kanciana. We enjoyed a number of chats with Bert, a very charming man who has led a very interesting life. We visited the nearby waterfall almost every day, a ten minute walk. You turn left at the bottom of the stairs. It is a beautiful waterfall with a 7 foot pool at the base of the falls, very refreshing, and we often had it to ourselves. Turn right at the bottom of the stairs and go along the track for a minute. Take the first left, cross a small bridge, and you soon come to a lovely small rice field. Continue walking for another 10 minutes and you come to extensive, stunning rice terraces which we found even more beautiful than the rice terraces at Jatiluwih and Belimbing. We walked there twice arriving between 730 and 8 am. We were the only ones there. We could see the ocean in the distance and watched the light slowly come towards us across the bright green terraces. Surreal! We are already booked for 8 nights next April. I guess that says it all. A very magical place.
