“A Few Hours at the Belagri Hotel”
We flew into Sorong for transfer to Papua Paradise Resort (just off the coast of Batanga Island - an 1-1/2 by boat from Sorong). “Sorong Trip”
The hotel is located at the top of the hill, so you can see almost the city from up there. Room was quite small and I got the windowless room, not good. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast standard. Great roof top restaurant with a view.

“Layover”
This hotel is primarily used as a layover spot for divers between Raja Ampat and Sorong airport. It has a nice rooftop terrace overlooking the bay where the meals are served and adequate rooms with comfortable beds.

“Could be better”
Very well appointed Indonesian style hotel only let down by poor air conditioning, a lackluster breakfast buffet and extortionate bar prices. The sunset views however are fantastic, as are all of the staff.
