It was our first time coming to Batam after so many years, way before covid. My husband and I booked a stay at Batam city hotel for our postponed honeymoon. Everything was marvellous. The interior and exterior of the hotel was beautiful. It was literally a high end hotel. Value for money was great. Loved the room. It was king sized bed. It was so spacious for us. Loved that they had a welcome drink how sweet, that we can collect from the lounge. What a sight. It was clean. Fantastic. Staffs were knowledgeable and like I said before, Indonesia gives an amazing service. Overall, we will return back. That is a promise so thank you!

Subject: Batam City Hotel Location: Nagoya Title: The 'landmark' hotel of Batam ID#: 850357314 Text: As the taxi neared the Batam City Hotel, its red-and-white skyline was seen on the morning scene. It is about the tallest hotel in the vicinity and we could not miss it - the old wing and new wing. My friends said the new wing is good but the old needs improvement. But in my haste I booked a business room in the old wing. I said to myself, worse come to worse, I would cancel and rebook for a premier in the new wing. But surprisingly after I checked into the room, I found everything work. The room looks reasonably clean with all the things we need for a good night's stay. And our stay was good. We made use of the small fridge in good working order. We used the safe and the two tooth brushes were handy. The downside of the hotel appears to be the check-in and check- out hours. We were not suppose to check in before 12 noon and check out before 12.00 pm. Will the hotel receptionist be flexible? I really don't know as we abide by their rules. The location is great, food, massages and shopping are all nearby. For the food, most our our favourite ones are still around - fish head soup and zhi zar. And of course the popular A2 food court. But massages and some shops fell to the pandemic. First Choice changed names, Reborn under renovation and where is Thai best? I tried calling Gojek but it does not seem to work for some places such as the Ferry Terminal in Batam Centre. We have to use the hotel's taxi at the flat rate of 80,000 rps. The other way from the terminal is 70,000 rps. Hopefully with increased visitors from Singapore and Malaysia, the place will become more lively.

Location wise fantastic, BCS Mall and A2 food court just across the street. 24/7 convenience store right beside the hotel. Many massage parlours around the shop houses near the hotel. Lots of variety of food to choose from the shop houses nearby. KTV, Pub, Spa and massage located in the same buildi… lisää

Location wise fantastic, BCS Mall and A2 food court just across the street. 24/7 convenience store right beside the hotel. Many massage parlours around the shop houses near the hotel. Lots of variety of food to choose from the shop houses nearby. KTV, Pub, Spa and massage located in the same building. Rooms are relatively new but not totally sound proof. Highly recommend if you are here for short stay.
