“Hidden Gem”

I took an extended trip to Jambi and I must say I was sure was a memorable one. The friendliness and accommodation of the staff was evident from even day one, where the gentleman that picked me up from the airport was kind enough to wait for me when my flight from Jakarta was unexpectedly delayed.… lisää

I took an extended trip to Jambi and I must say I was sure was a memorable one. The friendliness and accommodation of the staff was evident from even day one, where the gentleman that picked me up from the airport was kind enough to wait for me when my flight from Jakarta was unexpectedly delayed. The front desk staff was always kind, welcoming especially Miss Sendy. I did have some technical dificulties with the air conditioning in my room but was provided a new room and my luggage transferred over within the hour. The continental breakfast was good and seemed to incorporate both Indonesian and western contemporary breakfast fare. The real beauty in the resort was its location. It's nestled into a quiet hillside and was both beautiful as it was tranquil. A much-needed break from the busy and often claustrophobic feel of Jakarta. Perhaps the only downside is there aren't many restaurants within a 15 to 20 min walking distance, however, I never had a problem hailing a car with Go-Jek (Indonesia's version of Uber)

“Fabulous breakfast in a unique environment”

Great hotel a little bit outside the city center of Jambi at an quite but still very convenient location. The premises are great with lovely landscape. The breakfast was fabulous. The room was clean but was a bit worn here and there. Still a very pleasant experience! I recommend to stay here if you… lisää

“Nice place.”

We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it. We quite liked Jambi also even though all the locals said there was nothing to see. The rooms are nice and well turned over and the pool are good though hugely used by the local residents so it was difficult to swim unless you chose a quiet time. The recep… lisää

We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it. We quite liked Jambi also even though all the locals said there was nothing to see. The rooms are nice and well turned over and the pool are good though hugely used by the local residents so it was difficult to swim unless you chose a quiet time. The reception staff were fantastic especially Mr. Augustang and Miss Spendi who were brilliant and very helpful. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. There was usually a fair amount of food but quality was not great and the restaurant area was sloppy in areas like clearing tables and general cleanliness. We ate once only in the evening when a simple Indonesian meal took 45 minutes to arrive even though we were the only customers! Overall had a very nice stay but with more active management of the food area it could be even better.
