We recently stayed here. Location is very beautiful and adjacent to Sinh Sadan. This lodge is paradise for bird watchers and photographers. Rooms are very clean and staff is eager to serve you and are very polite. Amitbhai is very knowledgeable and had a very nice session of bird watching with him and his efforts to keep water pots and bowls around the rooms attracts lots of birds. Thanks to Rameshbhai for all the arrangements. Overall, a very good stay.

During my recent stay at the Gir Birding Lodge, I had the opportunity to go on forest trails (alongside Hiren river) with Amit, and the experience was outstanding. Amit is a highly skilled guide with a deep understanding of the local avifauna. Whether you are a serious birder or just a nature enthusiast, his ability to track calls and spot well-camouflaged species is impressive. He ensured we had enough time at each sighting for a good look, making the entire walk feel relaxed and rewarding. I would highly recommend requesting his expertise if you are looking to explore the local bird life/animal in Sasan Gir.

I come to Gir national Park to film the last location of the Asian lions and my expectations were blown out of the water. I had the wonderful opportunity to have Amit as my Guide for my three full days of Safari in the Gir national Park, which included a total of six drives, three in the morning, three in the afternoon and each drive was amazing and wonderful and unique in its own experience. Amit was absolutely wonderful. He was warm friendly and loved to share his knowledge and experience of his time in the park. He was very knowledgeable of all of the animals the birds, lions, lizards, and everything that called the park home. With his great experience in the park and as a stunning photographer, he understood how to put me in the right position to get the best photograph of the lions or whatever it was that we were filming at that moment. That kind of knowledge and experience is priceless for a photographer in getting the shots that they are after and to build their portfolio and simply just enhance their experience of the magic of the nature that they are capturing. Whenever I had any questions, he would answer them fully, and he spoke great English and communication was never a trouble at all. He was excited to share what he had learned over the years as a guide. I would return to GIR national Park anytime that I am back in India and highly recommend any other travelers and photographers that are looking for a unique wonderful wildlife experience while in India. I would also highly recommend Amit in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a knowledgeable, experienced wildlife guide, and someone who was truly passionate about what they did and where they did it and that adds a whole element of genuine greatness to it. Come to Gear Park and be ready for a breathtaking experience in wildlife encounters with the majestic Asian lion and the incredible guide Amit. Safe Travels
