“After several hours of sightseeing a perfect place to relax and enjoy.”

Hampi - a 25 sq. km. of UNSECO world heritage site, has been on our bucket list for over 15 years. Our goal was to explore Hampi and imagine the opulence of the Vijayanagar empire, as much as we could. We could not have chosen a better place to stay - Evolve Back. First, our guide for all 4 days Ramesh was excellent. We explained our objective of visiting Hampi was to understand Hampi’s history, art, architecture and soak the atmosphere of an era gone by. Our brief to Ramesh was "we don’t want to rush and finish the trail in planned 2 ½ hours". He delivered. Explaining small details. Showing smaller details, things, sculpture etc. He "threw" away Evolve Back's regular 2 1/2 hour per trail SOP. For every trail we spent anywhere between 3 1/2 hours to 4 3/4 hours. He did not stick to the script or the route. Because of our interest he showed us many things that are not on regular "agenda" such as Jain temples. Sita Seredu. At our request we used to have traditional North Karnataka lunch at local restaurants. Second, the property Evolve Back, Hampi. After morning sightseeing of over 4 hours, we would return to enjoy the hotel. Hotel. Excellent. Clean. Well managed. Liked the locally inspired architecture. Incorporation the Pushkarni beside the pool is beautiful. Food. I like local cuisine. Dinner buffet had 5 local vegetarian dishes. My wife had special dietary requirements. Every evening during High Tea (free) a chef would recommend few local dishes. For breakfast they would make something special for her. Rooms. Really spacious (smallest room is 800+ sq.ft.), jacuzzi, two showers, two basins. Clean. Free to tuck into snacks and soft drinks from mini bar. People. (from duty manager to house keeping) Always smiling. Courteous. Polite. Respectful. Ever helpful. No is not their dictionary. Special touches. Having a designated hospitality co-ordinator for a few guests. Ours was Chandana. She was always smiling, bubbly and chatty. Recommending off-beat things to do in and around Hampi. Returning from sightseeing a cold towel and refreshing drinks are served. On departure. In India welcome tikka is common but they did a departure tikka to wish us safe journey. 3 people (Chandana and Duty Manager Machias) stood in patio and waved us goodbye. It made us feel royal. Other things Evening story telling sessions on Hampi's history are a nice touch. Bharat Natyam performance in the Mandap of the Pushkarni overlooking the pool with open air dinner buffet is good.

“The best experience ever!!!!”

Absolutely brilliant! We had drishti from the team who took care of all our needs. Our historian was vireesh and I cannot express how pleasant, helpful and accommodative they both were. Five star property, five star service and five star hospitality. Loved every moment!!! Highly recommended
