A perfect destination to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended for families specially not for guys 😀

My stay at Niramaya has been exactly what I was looking for - it is the perfect place to rest, recuperate and get back in touch with nature. The premises are beautiful and you can tell that care has been taken to ensure that the resort is working alongside Mother Nature and protecting the environment it is situated in. The rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff are genuinely happy to see you and help make your stay comfortable. The quality of the food has been excellent, the chefs go above and beyond and I have had some of the tastiest food in Kerala here at Niramaya. Dr Lekshmi was knowledgeable and planned my treatment according to my needs and the spa staff, especially Ruby, were excellent. The yoga and meditation classes conducted by Gayathri were restorative and inspiring. Overall I was impressed by the professional and friendly nature of all staff.

“Beautiful resort with stunning views”

The resort is set in lush green land and has a Balinese feel to it. We almost felt that we were in a Thai resort given the colours of the stunning sea and infinity pool. The resort is set in lush green land and has a Balinese feel to it. We almost felt that we were in a Thai resort given the colours of the stunning sea and infinity pool. Service- The staff is very polite, but the service can be a bit slow. For example, on accessions, we had to ask several times for a golf cart for my mother who couldn’t walk on the up-and-down paths of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place for older people. I also had to ask several times for an ironing board before it actually turned up. The hotel wasn’t so busy, so no excuses for slow service. Food- they have a good menu but one restaurant for the entire resort is a bit limited. Luckily we had a driver and car and had a couple of meals out as it would’ve been quite boring to eat in the resort itself due to the lack of choice of food. I ordered a kind of pasta which was off the menu, the chef did a good job with the taste, but it was slightly undercooked given that I had asked for Al dente! Breakfast was excellent though, and fresh dosas are available on order too. Sleep- the beds are excellent and very comfortable, the rooms are very quiet so sleep was very good. However, opening the bathroom doors to a tropical kind of bathrooms lets out a lot of cool air and humidity into the room. Plus you have to watch out for Mossies flying in every time you open the bathroom door!! The resort has tried to make the bathrooms very funky and open style but unfortunately this is not everyone’s cup of tea! The extra activities on offer are lovely, I enjoyed the pottery making workshop but unfortunately the high tea was a bit underwhelming. Didn’t have a chance to try Yoga but I believe it is an excellent service.

Unfortunately the noise from the construction of the international container shipping port is difficult to ignore.
