We attended a Wedding at Bellbridge House Hotel. I must give a shout out to the excellent Staff, especially those who attending the Dinner on the evening of the wedding on Saturday 9th May 2026. The Staff were very attentive, prompt with the Meal Service and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. It was very much appreciated.

We headed to the Bellbridge House Hotel for dinner on Sunday and honestly, I was so shocked by how amazing the food was! I went for the chicken curry and the portions were absolutely massive I could barely finish it but it was delicious. My boyfriend got the vol-au-vent main course and it was literally to die for! What really made the night for us, though, was our waitress, Kiera. She was honestly so sweet and patient with us, and she made the whole experience feel even more special. It’s rare to get such great food and even better service, so we’ll definitely be back! x

“Nice hotel in a great area but check which room you are getting.”

This is a lovely hotel in a nice area, the view at the front is gorgeous. This was our third time staying here, the first couple of times we got a nice room, this time it was shocking, tiny with pine furniture and hardly room to swing a cat, it really wasn't good enough for what we paid, there was… lisää

This is a lovely hotel in a nice area, the view at the front is gorgeous. This was our third time staying here, the first couple of times we got a nice room, this time it was shocking, tiny with pine furniture and hardly room to swing a cat, it really wasn't good enough for what we paid, there was a wedding on and it was booked out so there was no chance of changing rooms. Check in was very friendly, one of the girls in the restaurant was superb, the other was just walking around, a couple beside us who had a young child with them had to ask her 3 times for their drinks. The food in the restaurant was lovely, we had drinks in the bar afterwards, there was one lovely guy in the bar and again one who wasnt. Breakfast wasn't as good as dinner but perhaps with a wedding it was a bit chaotic for the staff.

“Daft new rules regarding food in the Bar.”

Hi, we went to the Bellbridge today for food and discovered that there is a new rule that you can't have a meal in the bar and instead are sent to the Bistro. On arrival today we were met by a male member of staff ( manager or owner ? ) who told us we couldn't eat in the bar, told us to wait 10 min… lisää

Hi, we went to the Bellbridge today for food and discovered that there is a new rule that you can't have a meal in the bar and instead are sent to the Bistro. On arrival today we were met by a male member of staff ( manager or owner ? ) who told us we couldn't eat in the bar, told us to wait 10 minutes for a table in the Bistro, gave us the menu to be looking at and suggested we have drinks while we were waiting. We didn't find him to be particularily welcoming and he wasn't at all open to the idea of us having our meal in the bar. The daft thing about this was that the bar was virtually empty with all tables bar one free!!. We had our meal in the bistro and it was very good and the staff were excellent. After our meal we got drinks and brought them out to the lobby where we observed numerous people both in the lobby and bar standing and sitting around with menu's in their hands waiting for tables in the bistro. Some people near us in the lobby were waiting approx 30 minutes for a table. The bistro part is at the end of the bar so I don't understand why everyone is forced to go there and leaving the bar and lobby as a "waiting " area. We have always enjoyed going for a meal in the bar and sitting for awhile and enjoying a drink but now the atmosphere is destroyed by that daft rule. Please get rid of that stupid rule and restore the lovely bar to the one that we enjoy. The food is lovely. The staff are excellent but forcing everyone in to the Bistro while the bar is empty is daft. What's even more daft is forcing people to wait for ages for a table and loads of free tables in the bar.
