I spent a week in Cork at this hotel. It was a real gem. The whole staff made me feel very welcome, especially. Elisabeth. Their warm welcome, their concern that I shouldn’t feel lonely, and their empathy in trying to understand my difficulty in expressing myself in their language... My room was a real treat – comfortable, new, spotlessly clean and spacious… The communal facilities were marvellous, with a variety of spaces, even for watching a World Cup final. And the service provided to all guests was exquisite.

“Great hotel in an excellent position”

This is a great hotel in an excellent position. Check in was quick and easy, very informative. Great room with partial view of the river. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice of hot and cold. This is a great hotel in an excellent position. Check in was quick and easy, very informative. Great room with partial view of the river. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice of hot and cold. Cheese, cold meats, pastries, cereal yoghurt, bacon , sausages , scrambled egg, beans etc. Massive thanks to Ian at breakfast. If you have any questions about where to go, which bus to catch etc just ask him. Never to much bother. We ate at the hotel one evening, food was ok but not much choice. Loads of places to eat in city centre 10/15 minutes walk. A really really good traditional Irish pub behind the hotel, 5 minutes walk. It's called Sin é. It has a great selection of local beers and all the usual ones. It has tradition Irish music in there at 6:30pm every evening. But get in there at least an hour before that, as it get VERY PACKED. We got a taxi from the airport. It was €20 and took about 20 minutes. Probably wouldn't advise getting a river view room as it also looks out over a very busy road, that had lots of boy racers on during Friday night. And costs more

“Moxy Cork great for tourists”

The location of this hotel is fantastic for tourists. Allowed to check into room early which was a bonus. No wardrobe in room and only 5 hangers so bring some with you. No excuse for having no drawers in room, a couple of bedside lockers with drawers would solve that problem. That said the room… lisää

The location of this hotel is fantastic for tourists. Allowed to check into room early which was a bonus. No wardrobe in room and only 5 hangers so bring some with you. No excuse for having no drawers in room, a couple of bedside lockers with drawers would solve that problem. That said the room was really comfortable, spotlessly clean and had air conditioning. Self service Buffet breakfast was great, you can have as little or as much as you like. Complimentary cocktails a nice touch. This hotel is ideal for short stays.
