“Shame its closing”
This is another hidden gem. A time when service and opulance were part and parcel of traveling. The food was average but the beer and the service were great. Its a shame it is closing all i can say is that if its becoming student accomodation I hope they look afetr the structure of the hotel. Its … lisää

“The last night of a lovely hotel”
Saturday 30 September was the last night for guests to stay. The hotel is closing on Sunday. A shame as it was very comfortable and clean with a great bar and restaurant. I believe there is an auction on Tuesday 3 Oct for the contents.

“Nice hotel, too bad it's closing”
I understand that the hotel is closing soon and will be converted to student housing for University. It was actually a really nice and very comfortable hotel. We had the feeling that no on else was there and it would have been nice if it had been a little more bustling, but they probably had tape… lisää

“Very enjoyable ”
Stayed for 1 night. The hotel was very nice. Old style with character. Ate in the bar and the food was very good. Breakfast was also very good. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. Only downside was that we opted to watch a children’s movie but as it used the internet to play it… lisää

“Average - nothing special”
Stayed here for work. Good location for work but was disappointed that swimming pool wasn’t on site. It’s in NUIG and would have preferred if it wasn’t a drive away so didn’t bother. Breakfast was okay, service was slow.
