We stayed at Ballina Manor located in the centre of Ballina for 5 nights. We had bed and breakfast with an evening meal each evening. The room was clean and comfortable with a view over the water. The reception we received was excellent and our interaction with staff and management was first class. Our room was clean and airy. The food was top class and we’re definitely going back. The manager was very helpful with local knowledge and informed us of a golfing deal they were offering.

I had a lovely bank holiday visit to County Mayo with my partner and was lucky enough to have found this hotel online. The food was delicious and the views over the river of an evening were amazing! Lovely bar and I can’t commend the staff enough. The hotel manager was very helpful in recommending places to visit nearby. She went over and above what I would expect! All in all an exceptional visit! Would highly recommend!

“Best of everything you could ask for!”

What a spot! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We go sea fishing around Ireland every year and this was one of the best most hospitable places we’ve ever been, the girls on the desk were brilliant pubs, music and presents for our wives and kids they had all the info. We go sea fishing around Ireland every year and this was one of the best most hospitable places we’ve ever been, the girls on the desk were brilliant pubs, music and presents for our wives and kids they had all the info. The food was incredible and Susan was brilliant craic, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back Jimmy, John, Mick and Tom

The staff make this hotel. There are sufficient of them and they are friendly and very helpful, as well as well managed. It's well placed for the town, situated centrally. The staff make this hotel. There are sufficient of them and they are friendly and very helpful, as well as well managed. It's well placed for the town, situated centrally. The dining room is excellent. Well appointed, and with excellent views over the river. Breakfast is served in its own room, in good condition, with a varied menu and staff willing to be of assistance. The only downside is that the bedrooms, based the 2 we saw, seem to have not been refurbished for some time. The decor and fittings are old and dated, as are the bathrooms and particularly the poor showers. A refurbishment would make this hotel a truly top hotel, where service is a key determinent.of quality.
