“Nice place to stay”
Nice hotel and perfect place to stay for a night. We were travelling with a group and arrived too late because of a misunderstanding. But they arranged that we still could have our diner. Diner was excellent!

“Good hotel as base for visiting east Iceland”
Stayed at hotel for 2 nights on around-Iceland road trip. Nice modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room are reasonable size (typical 2 single bed layout - can combine beds for double bed). “Loved Athena and great location!”
We loved this hotel! Located in a beautiful town, we experience amazing weather and stunning views. We stayed in the wheelchair accessible room. Although the room was a bit small, we made it work for us. There were grab bars by the toilet which were essential for us.
