I would highly recommend staying at Auchrannie. I had an amazing trip with my mum and my 2 dogs. The hotel is immaculate, food is delicious, and the staff are really helpful and friendly. We ended up being stuck on the island due to the adverse weather and ferries being cancelled and Auchrannie went above and beyond to support us. We can’t thank you enough! The hotel is super dog friendly. They had left 2 bowls and some treats in my room. There are separate dog entrances with towels for drying them if they get wet/muddy (they can also go through the main entrance). The dogs are allowed in the bar area of Cruize where we dined for both dinner and breakfast. I will definitely be booking again!

“Motorhome Stay”

Great motorhome stop over immaculate services and the use of the spa and restaurant were an added bonus.

Our first visit to Arran and stayed at the Auchrannie resort. What a wonderful experience. Great resort, so clean and well laid out. Staff very helpful and friendly. We used both restaurants, Cruize and Brambles, excellent food. The facilities are amazing, both pools spotless and lovely atmospher… lisää

We used both restaurants, Cruize and Brambles, excellent food. The facilities are amazing, both pools spotless and lovely atmosphere. Huge games hall and Spa. The resort is so dog friendly they almost take priority over the humans:-) Planning our next trip already.

“Disapponted”

Was so disappointed by Room 8, supposed to be an executive room. Due to the room design, it was longer than normal, but > no bath, unlike photos of exec rooms > TV was on wall in extra seating space, and could not be seen from bed > no biscuits or juice...just one apple, one orange and one banana. … lisää

Due to the room design, it was longer than normal, but > no bath, unlike photos of exec rooms > TV was on wall in extra seating space, and could not be seen from bed > no biscuits or juice...just one apple, one orange and one banana. When i queried with the on-call manager, Gordon, i was told "maybe it was because you booked by Bookings.com"...but i paid same as i would have done if gone direct..£310 for one night bed, no dinner or breakfast, which we paid separately . Lots of good things about the hotel - location, spa, service.. but underwhelmed by our "executive room", and Gordon's dismissive justification
