“Best pub food”
We visited the Inn for dinner. The Inn is truly amazing. The history of pictures around the wall is lovely. The atmosphere is wonderful. The menu is great. The food was tasty, large plates of food and the service was quick and friendly. Differently a place we will return too.

“The best stay in the Mountains”
We had to make a one night visit to Blackheath and there are few establishments that will only take an overnight stay on a Friday. “Lovely meal”
We stopped here on the way to our accommodation on the advise of our local host. We were not disappointed. Very clean and tidy bistro, quick service and a lovely meal. Staff were friendly and polite. Highly recommended this hotel for a lovely meal with great service.

“Nice pub…lousy lazy food. Nice ambience and great fire”
Chicken snitty a pub staple ruined being submerged in hot oil…. Inedible and required a steak knife. Careless cooking… whoever cooks there doesn’t seem to enjoy it. Could be so good with well cooked, not tormented, pub meals. Pan fry the chicken… don’t deep fry it
