“Excellent from start to finish. 2. Day break”

“Couples night away”
A gorgeous discovery in Ambleside. Walking distance from the tip of the shore and equally a quick stroll into the town centre. We stayed in a dog friendly room with hot tub. A charming space with direct outdoor access. We also had diner at Rowan which was delicious - we ate from the à la carte men… lisää

“Good hotel and worthy of its place in small luxury hotels of the world”
Great hotel, lovely staff and very good atmosphere. Maybe the breakfast was not as good as it could be. It had oily fried bread and most of it was not very hot.

“Lovely Hotel”
Lovely stay !!! Beautiful hotel in a great location. The room was very spacious and felt luxurious. We also had the Sunday dinner which was outstanding would go back just for that. Staff were very attentive, polite and professional. Only let down was shower being a wet room.

“Fantastic food, just a shame about the service.”
Called in for Sunday lunch with our dog. Made a table up for us in a lovely spot looking out onto the garden. Young waiter was very helpful at the start, but think he then finished his shift. Starter delivered timely as was the main course, but then we seemed to be forgotten, waited around 30 minut… lisää
