Comfort Inn Arundel

“Uk holiday”

A nice stop over place to stay while travelling across southern England. Room was well appointed, clean and tidy. Breakfast reasonably priced and had a great selection to choose from. Concierge most helpful, even helped bring luggage upstairs.

Came here for a night stay and 2 good points and 1 bad point. But first the staff was helpful so it’s not about the staff. Good points Came in at 12:00 and managed to check me in instead of 14:00 so I don’t need to leave my luggage at the hotel. Went to the room and rested after a drinking at the Arundel taphouse. Then I watched the tv the channels were changing automatically like the remote got stuck or something. The tv was coming on even after I switched it off. Went down to speak to reception and they managed to change my room (family room). Bad points Came back at 9:00pm last night and went to bed the guests were talking loudly outside my room window sounded like also cars were beeping too (room 228) around 1:00am for a few hours so kept me awake most of the night

“Did the job for a stay of 1 night but will not be coming back unless it gets refurbished.”

All OK for a Comfort Inn. Does feel a tad tired in places. But the hallway smelt fresh which was a surprise as hotel corridor air can get quite stuffy. The doors are a bit of a business going up the stairs with suitcases. It could do with an overhaul but I guess easier said than done. It is … lisää

All OK for a Comfort Inn. Does feel a tad tired in places. But the hallway smelt fresh which was a surprise as hotel corridor air can get quite stuffy. The doors are a bit of a business going up the stairs with suitcases. It could do with an overhaul but I guess easier said than done. It is right near a McDonalds/Costa/Greggs/Garage which in some ways is good as at least you can get some food/drink/snacks 24/7 but also a bit of a challenge vacating the hotel car park as the McDonalds Drive Through q backs up it seems, well it did when we stayed which was on a Saturday night. The chap at the desk was very professional and polite. It is a place to stay if not wanting to travel too far from the main roads for onward journeys. The bed was a bit springy in places - just again probably just tired! We did purchase a glass of red wine and a bottle of water for less than a £5.00 which is a bargain these days! If back in Arundel would be staying somewhere else but it was efficient for our stay this time. Thank you to no doubt hard working staff.

Stayed here for 3 nights due to storm instead of my original arrival date. Very good stay the bed was comfortable and they cleaned the room everyday. The only thing the breakfast wasn’t hot enough after you take it out the hot counter. So decided not to have breakfast for the remaining of the trip.… lisää
