“Excellent stay at The Plough Inn.”

Excellent, attentive staff. Breakfast was delicious and the food offered in the restaurant was piping hot, freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. The room was comfortable with a funky bathroom. Brilliant stay, we throughly enjoyed it.

I stated for three nights in a double room. The decor of the room was navy blue, on every wall. It made the room very dark. It was however a reasonable size. There was tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge on the room. The stairs up to the rooms were very steep, something to be aware of. The bathroom was a brighter decor and very clean, although quite small. Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Location was good for our visit to Norfolk. Lots of tourist attractions within a drive away. Parking was available and free at the pub.

We stayed at The Plough Inn, booking the junior suite and the superior king room, and what an amazing experience it was from start to finish. The inn is spotless, stylish, and so comfortable — the beds were honestly some of the best we’ve ever slept in. In the evening we dined downstairs. Thankfully, we had booked ahead as the restaurant was buzzing and very busy. We all ordered the fish and chips, which were simply delicious. The batter was light and crispy, the fish perfectly cooked, and the minty mushy peas were an unexpected highlight. The location was perfect for exploring the local area — we spent the day in Cromer — and then returned for a relaxing evening. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, truly the best we’ve ever had. Dad and I enjoyed a hearty full English, while Mum was delighted with her eggs Benedict. Every flavour was so fresh and well-balanced: the rich eggs, the sweet yet smoky bacon, the creamy butter melting into the toast — all absolutely outstanding. It may sound unusual to single out something as simple as toast, but every detail here was spot-on. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed, the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We loved every moment and will definitely be back

Repeat visit. Comfortable, all staff are friendly and helpful without fail. The food is excellent, and the portions are generous. Very popular in the early evenings, especially with families but care is taken to place you away from the large groups. The menu simplified from previous visits, but no … lisää
