What a lovely place to stay! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all so friendly. We stayed in a 2 double bed room on the 1st floor - room 131 - it was big and spacious. What a lovely place to stay! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all so friendly. We stayed in a 2 double bed room on the 1st floor - room 131 - it was big and spacious. The bathroom and toiletries were lovely. We ate breakfast and it was plentiful, warm and a pleasant place to eat. The parking was very reasonable and plenty of spaces. Shoutout to Fathima who was a star! I am writing this review as I genuinely don’t understand the previous bad reviews. I will definitely return next time I come to London.

Great hotel overall. Buildings, facilities and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The staff on reception were really friendly and helpful too. Great hotel overall. Buildings, facilities and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The staff on reception were really friendly and helpful too. I attended an event at the hotel, and the conference facilities were also great. However the restaurant really let this place down. Breakfast was a very poor offering of rubbery eggs, really low quality sausages and barely cooked bacon. Evening meal was also very poor quality for the price. I expect a lot better from a Hilton (even Doubletree). I would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay, but would suggest arranging to eat elsewhere

** If you don’t want to read all this I have posted a room tour video of my room, the breakfast facility’s & the gym on my YouTube page which you can find the link for in my TripAdvisor profile).** I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Double Tree By Hilton London Elstree. On check in you are offered a cold bottle of water & a cookie. ROOM I booked a standard double room for 1 adult & I was given a room with two double beds. There were 2 plug sockets / 2 USB points on only one side of each bed. The room has a tv, safe, ironing board, iron & hairdryer. The bathroom isn’t overly big but has a walk in shower, toilet & sink. The water pressure in the shower is horrendous! The bed & pillows were comfortable. The room is located on the 2nd floor over looking the hotel entrance. With the room being on the front of the hotel it is opposite the main road so if you are a sensitive sleeper this may disturb you. The blinds on the window however are very good at keeping the light out. FOOD I only ate at the hotel for breakfast. There was a good selection of food & they were always replenishing things as they were running low. ** I have posted a video of the breakfast options on my YouTube channel which you can find the link for in my TripAdvisor profile. ** HOTEL & LOCATION The hotel is easy to find & has plenty of parking around the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have any shops or restaurants nearby within walking distance. The hotel however is easy to find. GYM The hotel has its own gym which is located on the lower ground floor. The gym is open 24 hours a day & is accessible by using your room key. As hotel gyms go this hotel gym is reasonably equipped & all the equipment was in working order. There is a water fountain available, as well as fresh towels to use. ** I have posted a video of the gym on my YouTube channel which you can find the link for in my TripAdvisor profile. ** STAFF All the staff I dealt with were really great. Nobody overly stood out for an individual mention but no one also stood out for a bad mention. OVERALL Overall I would definitely book this hotel again in the future if I was needing a hotel in that area.
