Just got back from an extremely pleasant and restful nights stay at Pelham Lodge. Hosts Martin and George are very friendly and helpful and clearly love what they do, which is to offer world class service in a home from home. Absolutely top class full English breakfast, and a warm, quiet, spotlessly clean en-suite bedroom with all the amenities you could wish for. Beautiful period Hotel which also houses Martins fabulous collection of Puppets and associated entertainment items. Parking on site, the hotel is great value and ideally situated close to town and nearby restaurants. Thank you Martin and George for your warm and kind, genuine welcome. You will see us again!

Pelham lodge is our favourite place to stay in Blackpool it’s central to all local amenities- Martin and the team are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, the rooms and en-suite are immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated, the breakfast is always cooked fresh to order and is delicious I can’t fault Pelham lodge at all- this place is a hidden gem as it also contains an incredible puppet museum which houses hundreds of rare puppets from Punch and Judy to incredible Pelham puppets and rare ventriloquist figures Martin is always happy to give a guided tour and answer any questions on these fabulous puppets- we can’t wait to visit Martin again soon

“Pelham Lodge - A Hidden Gem in Blackpool!!”

Visited the Pelham Puppet Museum and it was the best experience of our trip to Blackpool. I am a Pelham Puppet collector so it was great for me but everyone else in the party also really enjoyed themselves. Martin the owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable. A fantastic and unique experience!!

Have been about 4 times but this will be the last time unfortunately. Martin is a lovely fellow and the place is very clean and also handy for the seafront and the town centre. Have been about 4 times but this will be the last time unfortunately. Martin is a lovely fellow and the place is very clean and also handy for the seafront and the town centre. The room and shower was good. This year found the whole breakfast experience very awkward and unacceptable. The system they have lead to the food not being as good. 1st serving is 8.30am and you only get about 40 minutes before they ask you to finish up for the 2nd sitting. I like to chill with my breakfast and not rush it. As they are expecting you at 8.30 the food has already been cooked. The eggs especially are very well done. When you ask the chap with the glasses for more tea, toast or butter he looks at you as if you are out of order and grudgingly brings you more, a little more. Ruined the whole brekky experience and decided to go out for breakfast on the last morning.
