“Large room and friendly staff”

We stayed here for one night whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Obviously not a criticism of the hotel, but it wasn’t a great location for the path - my fault for not looking more carefully. We stayed here for one night whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Obviously not a criticism of the hotel, but it wasn’t a great location for the path - my fault for not looking more carefully. The room was great. Really big, with a massive and comfortable bed in it. Dog friendly, and had all the facilities we needed. Breakfast was good and fuelled our long walk that day. Dinner was less good - edible, but not great. We’d stay here again and go out for dinner, but not as part of a coast path walk as it was a good 25 minutes detour.

“Booked for Sunday lunch - Mistake!”

Booked for Sunday Lunch as staying in the area- disappointing and tasteless !! Ordered Beef and Turkey lunch, bed over cooked and tasted like school dinners !! “Breakfast disappointing”

Have stayed here a couple of times and found the rooms excellent. Very comfortable bed. BUT would not recommend the breakfast, the bacon was almost grey when it came out and we were just offered a whole plate of bacon instead of cooking our whole meal from scratch again as by the time the bacon cam… lisää

BUT would not recommend the breakfast, the bacon was almost grey when it came out and we were just offered a whole plate of bacon instead of cooking our whole meal from scratch again as by the time the bacon came out the rest of it was cold. Apparently someone had complained the morning before also. Shame as the staff are very friendly.

Average chain run hotel.. Usual mix of hard working friendly younger staff inter mixed with bad tempered stomping floor manageresses killing off any ambience that might have accidentally built up..... Food.. standard range of things with chips... not bad just average Would recommend for workers/… lisää
